Thinking San Miguel is just for the older is a myth. There are several fun activities for kids in town and cheerful places especially for them.

This ice-cream shop looks quite traditional. Ice cream is made with milk, fresh fruits and other ingredients like chocolate and nuts. It is delicious. Besides the typical cones, there are smoothies, desserts, cookies, coffee.

It houses over 1,000 toys, wonderful pieces made with imagination and color. The museum offers different spaces: the showrooms with fixed and temporal exhibitions; an area for recreational workshops and a store with Mexican folk toys for sale.

This is a real different and attractive art workshop for kids and teens. It is focused towards creativity, revealing the inner self through art. Using a Mexican tin box with glass door, “nicho”, and a variety of supplies like found objects, charms, buttons, prints, fabrics, paint, glitter and more. A one-day workshop includes all the materials and lunch. At the end of the day, you can go with a unique art piece created by yourself.

This hot spring retreat is the kid’s favorite. The facilities are a water amusement park, with playground, water slides and diving boards. Green areas are available to rest under the trees, or bash in the sun. Picnic anyone? General admission fee is 100 pesos, children 50 pesos.
