First Annual Crèche Festival

Calling all Crèches!

A Crèche Festival is a holiday tradition where hundreds of nativity sets from around the world are displayed to the general public. Enjoy some holiday music and get into the spirit of the season.  Nativity displays vary wildly depending on where they were made and are deeply reflective of the native population.  These variances can be bold or subtle, and make each crèche a unique art form.

The sponsors of SMA’s First Annual Crèche Festival are La Biblioteca and the SMA School of English, two of San Miguel’s oldest non-profits.  All proceeds from this November 24 event benefit scholarship students and educational youth programs.

Currently we need your artistic crèche sets donated for display.  They can be given to La Biblioteca at your convenience and will be returned to you immediately following the Festival.
