English students go into the woods!

By Joseph Toone

The SMA School of English, a 60-year-old charity focusing on culture and speech, has students that have been studying fairy tales like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack (of Beanstalk fame).

To celebrate having completed their studies on fairy tales students came to the library’s Santa Ana Theater to enjoy a performance of the Broadway musical, Into the Woods combines all the popular fairy tale characters on multiple comic adventures. It was the students’ first theater experience completely in English.
