Go-go back to school!
By Joseph Toone
The San Miguel de Allende School of English, a 60-year-old charity focusing on culture and speech, started their second year at their new school on Recreo by the Toro. To celebrate, classes focused on “Go-going Back to School” to the music of Belinda Carlisle.
Carlisle, known for leading the first chart-topping all-female band to write their own songs and play their own instruments, started the school year off bouncing. Studying her hit songs like “I Go Weak” enabled students to toss balls at each other each time Carlisle claimed to be “weak.” It was a breathtaking way to start another exciting school year at the SMA School of English!
