If we had a centerfold, these two dogs would qualify: Jessie, the blond, tiger-furred bombshell and Rita, the raven-haired beauty. Cute as they are, it’s their spunk that makes them special. When they start up in play mode with each other, you can forget TV; watching these two run, jump, and chase is top entertainment. About 1-1/2 years old, they happen to be sisters, the kind that like one another. Enthusiasm runs high and just when you think they’re tiring out, they’re off again. They are good sports: they take turns letting each other win. A good playmate has to be affectionate and both can guarantee lots of loving. If you have outdoor space, Jessie and Rita will zip around it and then come in and cuddle up inside, keeping your spirits warm and your household safe.
Kara and Kelly are high-energy 9-month-old pups, also sisters. They like to romp with Nube, around 9-months- old, too, and Mandy, 11-months-old. All four will likely not be bigger than small/medium sized. Kara is very striking with black-and-white spotted short fur and Kelly has a beautiful deer-like face with a short black and brown coat. Nube is a beauty, black, tan, and white—a shepherd mix. Mandy is almost all-black with a sweet, affectionate, and playful disposition. Lively and girl-dog lovely, each will make an ideal playmate for an energetic family. If you’re athletic, any of these will be your running, hiking, or biking companions. Among themselves, their only competition is who gets our attention first. They soak up love and easily give it in return. If you want more laughter in your life, any of these four will deliver.
Come to the SPA and see these girls in action any day, Monday-Saturday, 11am-2pm, Los Pinos 7, phone 152-6124. Don’t forget that we now have a beautiful dog run where you can watch them at play or spend some one-on-one bonding time. While you’re at the SPA, ask us about volunteering! Play with cats, kittens, and puppies and walk dogs (a great way to exercise!). Adoptions are 300 pesos for cats, 350 pesos for dogs, which include spaying/neutering and vaccinations. Check out our website: www.spasanmiguel.org and make sure you follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/spasanmiguel with albums of all our cats and dogs available for adoption (biographies, pictures, and some videos).
