Sun, Aug 19, 4pm-10pm
Restaurant Carrizales
After the Malanquín golf course on the road to Celaya

Carrizales is a great outdoor restaurant located on the road to Los Frailes. They will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, chicken wings, beer, wine and tequila, and if this doesn’t appeal to you, you are allowed to bring your own picnic and beverages. There is a great playground with inflatable bouncy houses for kids, who get in for free. Tickets will be sold at the door, which opens at 4pm.

Turner has lived in San Miguel for 12 years. She met her husband Robbie here and their two children, Liam, age six and Aidan, age four were born here. They have decided to move back to the States to be closer to family. Turner has played at various venues in San Miguel and recently played the role of Yitzhak in the live musical production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Her acoustic music ranges from old blues tunes, Beatles covers and originals. She will be performing her rock and roll set with Ken Basman, one of San Miguel’s finest musicians, and will sing a variety of blues, Linda Ronstadt and Elvis, and other classic rock covers.

Garza is an incredible vocalist with not only an amazing vocal range but is able to perform a wide variety of musical styles. He has been singing with ever-popular Vudu Chile in San Miguel for the past seven years. He will be heading back to Banner Elk, North Carolina soon, but will be back now and then to play. Vudu Chile’s repertoire includes everything from Ray Charles to AC/DC, Beatles, jazz covers and classic and Southern rock.

Don’t miss your chance to say good-bye or maybe just hasta luego to two of San Miguel’s favorite performers. If you need any other information, please write to:
