Summer Blues Concert—Tribute to John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters
By Antonio Lozoya
Each year in the month of November, the San Miguel International Festival of Jazz and Blues is held. This event would not be possible without the participation of the people of San Miguel and resident artists. Thus, once again, we invite you to join us in a fund-raising concert for what will be the 18th annual production of this festival, which will take place from November 15 to 19.
Concert
XVIII San Miguel International Festival of Jazz and Blues
Thu, Jul 26, 7pm
Teatro Ángela Peralta
Cnr. Hernández Macías & Mesones

The main intent of this concert is to provide a musical adventure for those who are lovers of blues and in turn to invite you to participate in a fund-raising event which will be invaluable to the continuation and growth of free events and artistic programming. We continue to have the distinction of being the most experienced festival in Mexico in this genre and one of the most important in Latin America.
Thanks to your donations the festival grows and grows in our local culture, adding programs such as alternative activities, free concerts, exhibitions and educational workshops at no cost to the public and aimed primarily at the children of San Miguel. The festival is part of a civil association, “Integrating Art and Culture AC,” which aims to enrich the cultural landscape of San Miguel de Allende, contributing to its reputation as a magical place to live or visit.
