All About Love
By Sharon Kosson
Music and love are in the air again, starting on July 27 and continuing for four nights. Judy Marzulli and pianist Jorge Pérez will once again perform some of the great old standards that we all remember and cherish.

The show includes songs like Taking a Chance on Love, How Deep is the Ocean and Cry Me a River. We can still hear many of these favorites if we listen to the soft jazz radio stations, performed by today’s young new vocalists and musicians.
You’ll hear a collection of songs that go back to the good old days, when the top recording artists were such stars as Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and Ella Fitzgerald. Just as the songs in Judy’s Christmas show did last December, these songs will take you back to some of the more memorable times in your life. Above all, these tunes will remind us of the loves we’ve known and still know: the good ones and the bad ones, when our hearts were breaking or full of joy.
Judy’s list of musical accomplishments here in San Miguel include playing Sister Mary Hubert in the production of Nunsense in the Instituto Theater; producing and starring in Cabaret at the Teatro Angela Peralta; producing and performing in many musical reviews, as well as producing and starring in Mame and Mack & Mabel—both Broadway musical hits. She has also performed in many Players Workshop productions.
Remember, when you buy a ticket you will be helping to provide scholarships to young women who could not afford school without your help. All proceeds from this show will lovingly go to Mujeres en Cambio.
So, come and enjoy an evening of torch songs and songs about the special joys of love. If music be the food of love, don’t just play on—join us!
