Collaboration is the name of the game of success in charity work, and artist Sioban O’Donoghue of La Crepe knows it! Thus, she has created Art Unleashed; a fun evening of art and fine dining to benefit the Santa Julia girls and the Society to Protect Animals.

Why these two organizations? “They both give shelter to those who need it,” said Sioban. She’s passionate about both and has been involved with both.

When you arrive, you will be treated to themed appetizers and aguas frescas as you meet the Santa Julia girls and see the art they have created with Sioban’s assistance. Each piece will be for sale, with the proceeds benefiting the girls and the dogs and cats at the SPA.

Thereafter, you are invited to dine on mango gazpacho or pear salad with blue cheese; bourbon-glazed salmon or breast of chicken with poblano sauce a gratin; rice; and Nicole’s carrot cake, all for only 200 pesos, half of which will be donated to the Santa Julia girls and the dogs and cats at the SPA. Vegetarians have the additional option of

Crêpe Ratatouille with Tomato, eggplant, pimientos, zucchini and cheese in white wine as an entrée. All recipes are from the SPA’s Doggone Purrfect recipe book.
