YAM Gallery goes French

By Adolfo Caballero

Yam Gallery, in business in San Miguel since 2005 and dedicated to contemporary art, has been taking part in international art fairs since 2010 (ChACO Santiago 2010, Houston Fine Art Fair 2011) to promote its artists and win new collaborations.

This year the gallery will participate in a French art fair for the first time: CHIC Dessin in Paris. With the presentation of such emerging artists as Cristóbal Gajardo and Adam Chamandy and established artists such as Javier Areán, Manolo Arriola and Taka Fernández, Yam will represent the contemporary art scene in the Americas and open a rich dialogue with Europe with the diverse formats and techniques of its artists.

For the third consecutive year, the fair of drawings CHIC Dessin will be held in the beautiful Atelier Richelieu, a few yards from the Palacio de la Bolsa where the Salon du Dessin will be taking place at the same time. A not-to-be-missed event for lovers of drawing.
