Cuba in San Miguel de Allende

By Atención Staff

Cuba Fest 2012, the festival of Cuban culture in San Miguel de Allende, will take place this year from March 8 to 18. Each year the Festival offers the best in literature, music, art, film, and even the Cuban cuisine in activities free of charge. This year, Cuba Fest pays tribute to Cuban singer and composer José Antonio Méndez (1927-1989), 85 years after his birth, remembered worldwide for his song La Gloria eres tú (Heaven is you). In poetry, the festival will pay tribute to Nicolas Guillén (1902-1989), considered the national poet of Cuba, on the 110th anniversary of his birth. The Mojito and Daikiri are starring in the contest of Cuban cocktails. The traditional taste of Cuban cuisine will delight the palate with the tostones, the congrí, the yuca with mojo and other culinary delights. The fun and joy of Cuba will find a special atmosphere in the traditional kindness of San Miguel, in conjunction with the splendid tourist services in hotels, spas, hot springs, revitalizing SPAs, and its famous restaurants offering exquisite international menus. Everything is ready to ensure our guests a memorable staying at the Cuban rhythm. At night the party continues at bars and nightclubs. Visit:
