La Mirada Infinita By Ignacio Guerrero. Fri, Jan 6, 5-8pm. Moyshen The Gallery, Fábrica La Aurora 4C
Ignacio Guerrero moved from graphic design as a career to painting as a passion. After working for a number of publicity companies and specialist magazines, rising to become Art Director, he was at the height of his career when he realized that something was missing. Thus it was that in 1995, to the surprise of all who knew him, he abandoned the world of publicity to dedicate himself to painting.
In the beginning it was difficult, he found that selling work could be a Calvary, and between this and discovering a personal style for himself, he passed through some rough years. Nevertheless, he didn’t give up. He perfected his individual style and began to gain recognition, to the point that he has now exhibited on more than 60 occasions in Mexico and abroad, in places such as Portugal, Italy, Australia and New York. In 2009 and 2011, his work was selected for the International Biennial in Florence.
