SMA School of English set for Spring registration

Registration for the spring semester at the San Miguel School of English will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9 at Esc. Heroinas Insurgentes (Recreo 46). Tuition is 300 pesos per semester, plus the cost of books. Classes on six levels will begin at 6 p.m. following registration, and will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (except holidays) through April 23.

The SMA School of English is a non-profit association incorporated under the laws of Mexico to offer classes in English for adult Mexican residents of SMA. All teachers are native English speakers who generously volunteer their time each week. The mission of the school is to teach beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of English to residents 16 years and older, to enhance their employment and cultural abilities.

Volunteers may teach a class full-time, share a class with another teacher or serve as long- or short-term substitutes. No experience is necessary.
